There is more to the invasion of white wolves than meet the eyes. Evil forces are moving about, herding the starving wolves of the North towards the south to cause havoc among the settlements. To represent this the Evil players get to deploy some hidden figures within the wolf packs which do not appear on the gaming table until they are in base to base contact with an enemy or revealed through someone's Hightened Perception. The hidden figure will also be revealed if attacked by magic attacks, like a Sourcerous Blast. |
The warg is a demon-wolf, a spirit of considerable power entrapped in the shape of a wolf, large as a horse. It is strong and cunning and set on evil destruction. A warg can hide in a pack of ordinary wolves which it commands as it wishes

The werewolves are a weaker remnant of the gruesome hoard of wolf-demons which were once led by Sauron himself back in the First Age. The werewolves can run with other wolves indistinguishable from the rest, but then emerge on its hind legs in the gruesome appearance of man-wolf hybrid and attack with a fearsome reach of its teeth and claws.
